Very pleased so far.
Went from K02s to these and the difference is night and day better on icy roads. Smooth and quiet as well vs that road noise. Haven't had them long enough to see how they wear but feel safer already for this Winter in Bend Oregon.

Average at best.
The good. A great looking tire, with white letters. Very sporty, looks great on my Ram 1500. They are smooth and quiet riding. The bad- wet traction is average at best. Tire break loose on wet pavement too easy, was quite disappointing. Have not tried in snow yet, but if rain is giving them problems, I’m not expecting them to be great.
Emmy, thanks for taking the time to submit a review. For optimum performance, please be sure the tires are inflated to the manufacturer's recommended psi as indicated on the inside of the driver's door. As a follow up, one of our team members will reach out to you.

Trail Terrain
Fifteen thousand miles on them in all types of weather and off-roading conditions, from Colorado high country winters to California flooding rains. I went wheeling in the Rockies and Death Valley, and they have never had a problem in Heavy rain and mud and snow. They are very good daily driver, and much quieter and smoother than the KO2. I have not experienced any of the issues that others have, but I have been driving in bad weather for 30 years, and with my Tacoma with a manual trans and four-wheel drive, I have no doubt that these tires will handle any terrain that most of us will through at them. I also went from 16 MPG city, and 19 MPG HWY, to 20 MPG city, and 25 HWY MPG, overall, I'm very happy with these tires.

BFG have outdone themselves!
These tires are fantastic! Previously had some crappy econo tires on our 2018 Chevy Silverado that caused us to have trouble on everything. Even struggled on grass. They were so bad they even led us to get stuck up to our bumper one time. They were also not very quiet, handled terribly, and wandered a lot on the highway. I should probably note that I am a massive car and tire enthusiast, so I definately needed a 3PMSF tire. I also reccommend anyone looking at tires to watch Tyre Reviews on youtube, very good channel, would love to see more of your tires on test there. Anyway, back on track. After we put on Trail Terrains we noticed an instant difference. Even on a steep gravel incline in 2wd and no weight in the rear, the tires didn't spin going up. Even after stopping, and giving it reasonable throttle. It also has been very good on snow and ice. Only slid once, and not very much, and that was on black ice. Very easily controllable and well balanced tire. Suprisingly well handling too! And quiet! We liked these tires so much we even put them on our 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan! We noticed the same improvements so far aswell. The only thing about these tires that has made me upset is the fact that they don't come in 235/55/R17 so I could put them on my Crown Victoria! (Please make them in 235/55/R17!)

Trail terrains on my CRV
Just bought these BF Goodrich Trail Terrain TA from my tire dealer. I first wanted all terrain but the sales guy said that trail terrains were better for my situation. I’m a nurse by trade and live in Northern NJ mountain area. It gets colder and snows more in the winter. I have to able to report to work no matter what was going on with the weather and I wanted to go on light trails and camping for leisure. First, I live the aggressive look on these tires. I have a 2019 CRV and wanted to make it look more rugged and these look fantastic on them with stock rims. It looks aggressive and ready for adventure. (See picture) On the pavement, stopping was good bit was not as good as my old highway tires but adequate in stopping. Cornering was nimble and precise. Road noise actually reduced with these and offered a quiet ride. I also noticed that it absorbed smaller bumps which made the ride quality smoother and gave a floatier feel. On in paved trails it is excellent. I pushed it pretty hard and these grab the trails really well. The trail was natural ground and fine gravel and these were able to hug the road as I take turns at 40-50 mph. I was extremely happy with this performance. These tires fit what I was looking for to a T. Excellent on snow and performed better on trails than I expected. It’s backed with 60k limited warranty and I could not be happier with my purchase.

Trail TA's on 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I purchased these tires for a new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The tires have 1000 miles on them now and have been driven through ice, snow and extended highway driving. The performed flawlessly in all conditions! The tires look great, handle great and are very quiet. Living in Colorado, I needed something more than the highway tires the Jeep came with and I did not want a tire as aggressive looking as the KO2's. The Trail TA's fit nicely right between. I highly recommend them.

Very Happy!
Bought these in March of 2023 (in Las Vegas, NV) and proceeded to drive with them all the way up to Alaska via the ALCAN highway through Canada and not one single issue. I didn’t know what to expect (what type of roads, road conditions and of course the weather), but they worked flawlessly! Used them during Alaska’s very brief and extremely wet summer and I am still really satisfied with them. Preparing to experience a Full Alaska winter soon, but based off what I experienced last year (extended Alaska winter season), I fully expect another exceptional winter performance. We traveled a variety of roads on our trip, smooth pavement, rough patchy uneven pavement, gravel roads, muddy roads, snowy roads, some icy roads, and of course slushy roads in and around Anchorage. First time purchasing BF Goodrich tires, have to say I’m very impressed and satisfied with their quality and performance. The only thing I would even consider as a slight, tiniest issue, is I was able to detect some minor road noise. Could be due to the roads I was driving on, but I can hear some road noise. Not much, nothing loud it’s just that I could hear the difference. mind you every other set of tires I was rolling with were all seasons. Being from Southern Nevada (Las Vegas) mostly all highway miles being driven 99.9% of the time. Vehicle is a non modified 2013 Honda Pilot 4x4 with at least 169K miles at time of purchase. We also pulled a small u-haul trailer the entire trip up to Anchorage, Alaska. Hope this is helpful! I recommend these tires! 👌🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Great A/T without the mileage and road performance hit
I have about 15,000 miles on these 2019 Expedition Heavy Tow. Have had several different BFG tires on my SUVs over the yrs. My Sequoia had Rugged Terrains before they were discontinued those we’re heavier, louder and definitely not as smooth especially in cold temps. Then I put Advantage T/A on the Sequoia which were far better Highway tires but definitely missing sipping for really good snow performance but they were ok in snow. The new Trail Terrains definitely found the sweet spot between super heavy A/T and not enough A/T. They are way superior to the stock Hancook oem tire Ford had on the Expedition which was absolutely lousy in wet and snow. The Trail Terrains were only about 1mpg impact over the low rolling resistance OEM highway tires. But massively huge improvement in foul weather performance. By far my top favorite BFG so far. Very curious to see the new KO I had those on my Landcruiser years ago. Crazy heavy tires but super tough. Too much tire for my Ford Expedition needs.

Excellent in deep snow and quiet for an A/T.
Great looking tire and quiet for an A/T. I always look forward to high snowfall days and these tires worked extremely well in 10 inches of heavy fresh snow. Braking at icy intersections was also very good. It takes a good tire with a lot of tread sipes to stop my heavy Yukon XL in icy conditions.

California Super Storms 2023 / 3rd Gen 4Runner
Just spent 3 days in the Tahoe Basin with these tires. I wasn't sure how well they would do but I was utterly surprised. Long story told short.... I arrived in Tahoe after 11.5hrs of delays in the Sierras because of avalanches and accidents. (Typically a 4hr trip) Made it to our Tahow house at 4am. The streets were 2ft deep in fresh snow. We drove through this deep powder at 4am in the dark and getting stuck was NOT an option we cared to experience. Our 2001 Toyota 4Runner 4WD with CLD plowed slowly and surely. Stopped when we needed to and regained traction and continued on. The 2023 Super Storms in California were the perfect snow test. I highly recommend these tires. IG @calspeed
